Skunk #1 S1

A1 Skunk / Skunk #1 — 1979 Seed Stock S1

A preservation-focused S1 created from our selected A1 Skunk / Skunk #1 originating from 1979 seed stock.

This generation was produced by selfing the Aeque-selected plant with the goal of carrying forward the exact expression we chose: large spear-shaped colas, heavy resin coverage, strong flower stacking, vigorous growth, and classic old-school Skunk character.

The selected parent produces dense, resinous flowers with a traditional green Skunk appearance, masses of orange pistils, and excellent trichome coverage. When finished under cooler conditions, the plant can develop attractive purple and pink tones through the flowers and leaf edges, giving the selected expression additional colour while maintaining its unmistakably old-school structure.

The aroma stays rooted in classic Skunk territory, with pungent Skunk, earth, musk, and subtle sweetness combining into a profile that reflects the character of vintage genetics rather than a modern candy-forward direction.

Preserving the Aeque-Selected Expression

This S1 was not created to reinvent Skunk #1.

It was created to preserve the expression selected by Aeque Genetics and carry it forward with greater consistency.

By selfing the chosen parent, the goal is to reinforce the traits that made this plant stand out: its large spear-shaped flowers, heavy resin production, vigorous structure, classic Skunk aroma, and the pink and purple coloration that can appear under cooler conditions.

1979 roots. Aeque selected. Preserved through S1.
